Autumn Apple Coffee Treat
As Fall arrives with a cool bite in the air, tree leaves
turning to rust and gold, what better way to celebrate
the coming holiday season then with a warm drink.
Coffee both caffeinated and decaf lends itself to an
autumn bounty of apples. Freshly ripened this is the
perfect time to press sweet apple juice into your
favorite coffee. This satisfying tart-sweetness is even
more delicious then it is healthy. Coffee has been long
known to contain beneficial properties and apples are
equally credited with necessary vitamins.

Time to spice it up:
1 C. brewed Coffee (8 ounces)
1 C. pure Apple juice (8 ounces)
2 Cinnamon sticks
2 Orange slices (leave rind on)
2 Cloves (whole)
¼ tsp. Allspice
2 tsp. Honey, Brown Sugar, or sugar substitute.
Brew coffee as you wish and set aside.
Using the English ‘proper cup of tea’ method, pour
boiling water into 2 cups and cover with saucer.
Add apple juice, coffee, and spices to sauce pan to slow
low simmer, add orange slices plus any desired
sweetener.
Allow 3 to 5 minutes to blend flavors, stirring
occasionally.
Pour warming water out of cups. Using fine wire mesh tea
strainer, strain coffee-apple mixture into them.
Serve immediately with toasty-warm graham crackers or
small spice cookie for a Fall treat.

Moving into the Dollar world with all
the Dollar and 99 Cents Only Stores as well as Walmart
this month, is Target Stores new Dollar Section.
Our research shopping found more then
we can begin to describe here but Target placed a huge
section right at the entry of its Miramesa Calif store.
There they set up 8 block attached
sections filled with back to school, toys, kitchen
uninsels, make up, bath products, etc.
The best way to explain it is to
recommend looking for yourself, it's almost impossible
to come away without all kinds of $1 goodies you'll find
you don't want to go home without.
