#1 Wash and vacuum your car at home.
# 2 Buy a used car. New cars value drop about 40% when
you drive off the lot.
# 3 If married, make the best use of just having one
car.
# 4 Keep tire pressure correctly inflated.
# 5 Dump unneeded weight in your vehicle. Added weight
puts load on the engine and wastes costly fuel.
# 6 On starts, accelerate slowly and smoothly. Avoid
jack-rabbit starts but move into high gear as soon as
possible.
# 7 Use your air conditioner only when absolutely
necessary.
# 8 Avoid unnecessary braking, maintain a steady pace.
# 9 Do not rest your foot on the clutch or brake pedal.
This causes needless wear resulting in poor gas milage.
# 10 Keep front wheels in proper alignment or you cause
excessive tire wear. |

Herbs Make Excellent Seasoning as well as medicines.
Buyng Herbs: Choose those that are crisp or erect
without a droopy look. Leaves should be vibrant colored,
lacking brown spots. Pick those with fresh smelling
strong scent.
Store Well: Herbs last longer wehn refrigerated. Wrap
flat leaves or small stems gently in a damp paper towel,
then seal in a plastic bag. For large quantities or for
bigger herbs like basil in a bunch, stand it upright in
a glass of shallow water before refrigerating.
Dry Herbs: Use fresh when possible. If not, substitute
dried in amounts of 1 teaspoon dried equals 1 tablespoon
of fresh chopped.
Cooking With Fresh: Add herbs at the end so the heat
cycle to avoid destroying flavor.
